The information presented here is current as of the latest 1.12 alpha versions of Mystic BBS.
Considering installing Mystic from scratch? Use the latest available 1.12 alpha. It offers many more features and better stability than the now (much older) 1.11 version.
Release News
Mystic BBS 1.12 Alpha 39 was released on 20 April 2018.
Recent changes, additions and fixes included:
- Several changes to record data
- Mystic message searching now allows full logical boolean searches
- A new feature in the File Base Settings called “Download FTP”
- MIS now has a basic HTTP server.
- The “Semaphore” event system has been enhanced
- New menu command: MF (View draft message posts)
- Echomail ACS is active
- MUTIL [ImportEchoMail] now has a new option: default_rescan
- AreaFix now has a “%ALL” command
- Many, many, new Python functions have been added

Getting Started
To get your Mystic BBS up and running head to the Installing Mystic BBS section of this Wiki and/or check out Mystic Guy on YouTube for further how-to videos.
Mystic BBS currently supports Windows (32/64-bit), Linux (32/64-bit), Mac OSX, ARMHF Linux (Raspberry Pi / ODroid, etc).
