The '[EchoUnlink]' stanza tasks MUTIL to scan Networked message bases for what are deemed to be dormant message bases.

The function can be configured to send the SysOp a report of dormant message bases, automatically delete the message base, generate an Areafix unsubscribe Netmail to your uplink, remove downlinks, and free up all disk space used by the dormant message echo.

Because it relies heavily on a complex configuration, this feature is only available when you are using Mystic for your echomail tossing solution.

A number of parameters can be sent including defining what a dormant echo is, what actions should be taken if any, and what echotags should be excluded (if any).

To enable this function you modify the '[general]' stanza as follows:

[general]

EchoUnlink         = true

There are a number of options you can configure for this function.

; Echo must have existed for this many days to be considered for removal
days_created = 30

; Last post in base must be older than this to qualify for removal
days_inactive = 90

; Set mode to: 0=Notify SysOp only 1=Delete bases only 2=Notify+Delete
action_mode = 0

; Send Areafix unsubscribe to uplink when deleting message base
send_areafix = false

; Excluded echotag list. These must always been listed at the bottom of the
; stanza after all other options. Excluded echotags can use wildcards and
; should be defined as one per line.
